The Ozarks Morgan Horse Club began with a gathering of Morgan horse lovers around the Springfield, Missouri area in late 1981.   Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Two marks the official beginning of the Ozarks Morgan Horse Club with application to the American Morgan Horse Association for recognition of club status.  The members, then and now, meet and plan events where our Morgans can be exhibited and showcased.  Many lifetime friendships have been formed throughout the history of the Ozarks Morgan Horse Club, both two-legged and four-legged.  From the heart of America and from coast to coast, OMHC members and their Morgans have introduced thousands of people to the joys of looking at. touching, riding, driving and owning the Pride and Product of America-the Morgan Horse.
